Constructive Knitting for Children

Author:

Olive Hacking, N.F.U. The Dryad Press,

Leicester. 2/-.

This little book gives instruction in the beginnings of knitting, and suggests a number of delightful things to make, with detailed instructions as to how to make them. The Chapters are divided into ” Knitting Methods and Processes,” ” Easy to-Make Articles,” ” Community Work ” and ” The Checker System of Toy-Making,” and there are a number of clear and attractive illustrations.

The book should be useful to Occupation Centre Supervisors and Home Teachers of Defectives, as well as to schools.
